Ryan S. Mann writes from the seam between ordinary American life and the other world that keeps interrupting it. A Star Seed and A Witch is his first memoir — the first volume. It begins with a boy in the Glades and a grandma named Willie Mae. The ground under it is Florida: Pahokee, the cane, the lake, and a family shop. The rest is the bound work.

This house does not publish a personal photograph of the author. The figures you see are the work as it sees him — a boy on a dirt road, a light in a pew, a man on the dike. Likeness is a right. It is not spent here.

Short promotions live on this page. A clip posted elsewhere is not the master. This house is the first home of each variation.
